The CFFA2 was an improvement over the original CFFA card in that speed improvements were made and that which partition could be specified to boot from by holding down the M key after a restart. But it was still limited to working like a hard drive (albeit, a fast, reliable solid state drive).
This blog details my setup and use of the CFFA2 .
