About
The last installment of Carmen for the Apple II expanded on the time travel theme but focused on the U.S.A and its history. 'Where is Carmen Sandiego' in Space was released afterwards, and then Deluxe editions of earlier games found releases for MS-DOS and the Mac in the early to mid 90s.
Again, this runs from System 6 and can be launched from a hard drive, but it requires that the original disk remains in the drive. The disk image includes a text file that includes some manual lookup copy protection, which is required for at least the first case solved by a player. It would be handy to have a scan of the manuals to make getting past this easier, or if someone wants to properly crack the game, removing any protection and word-lookup, that'd be great.
Each game in the Carmen Sandiego series has also been specially modified to run from a hard drive / large ProDOS volume in this special collection , thanks to Marco Verpelli.
