About
Before Quake, before Doom, before even Wolf3D – John Carmack was toiling away on an Apple II.
With obvious inspiration from Richard Garriot and his Ultima series, John Carmack created his own RPG epic for the Apple II.
This particular archive contains a 2image that will only run on a IIGS, thanks to the Antics overly zealous distro notes. I don't believe he cracked it, as I don't think it was ever protected. It now also includes an 8-bit Apple II friendly release that should work fine on any 3.5" drive equipped Apple II.
